Cover or Flaunt?

It all used to be about what you were wearing, sadly its now all about what you're not wearing. The Fashion trends today have the angels on high weeping and sighing. Women especially are those at the forefront of this unworthy cause, I mean why expose your body leaving nothing to the imagination?  One painful aspects where some pot-bellied women wear short tops, exposing their tummies all in the name of fashion.. .what's that?!  Why are you embarrassing the nation?  These are the people EFCC and LASTMA should be arresting, they're obstructing traffic..,that's by the way. In case you don't know, you cannot attract a real man by dressing provocatively, you will only attract a dog! Yep...u heard me and when he sees someone who exposes more than you, he'll leave you faster than he ran to you. No woman of virtue exposes her body, can you imagine Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or Chimamanda Adichie exposing her body???  Hell no!... These women have self es

2ND best thing to do in any Nigerian University.

2 ND best thing to do in Nigerian University .  One of the hardest things students encounter while applying for a university admission or even when they are in it is solving the puzzle of the optimal way or ways to go around the 4/5/6 years to get the very best out of it. Ready made solution templates come in several formats,  some of the common ones are 1. Pray to God he will direct your every path after all  the physical is controlled by the spiritual. 2. Lectures - Read - Eat - Read - Read and then repeat the cycle,  if you noticed this method doesn't even have sleep plan because we all know that  the heights that great men attain is not by sudden flight but while their contemporaries slept they but the the midnight candle. 3. Pay the bills : It's either you know the tuition source is going to run short soon or you are actually the source, either way finding ways to get money within or outside school i s the priority, I don't judge

WITCHES THAT STEAL AT NIGHT

THE MYSTERY GLASSES See me see wahala oooo. Just this morning we found out that some spirits from the pit of hell didn't want the progress of my mother and my family at large and they decided to show it off by stealing my mum's reading glasses just minutes before she was supposed to read her bible in the morning. Maybe am going way too far with this or not, why don't I let you be the judge of that. Here is a story of how it happened; So I woke up this morning to find my mom searching under my bed as early as 5am.What could she be looking for I wondered, then she asked me, "Have you seen my pair of glasses?"  I answered in the negative and she asked again  "are you absolutely sure?" I was like, I don't get it, did I take your glasses in my dream, I thought.  My sister also got the same interrogation immediately she woke up, she also said she hadn't said anything.  "This people have come again!...... They don

Simple Steps to Set Up Your Life's Vision

Vision is a very important factor in a man's life. Everyone needs to have a vision in order to succeed but then we must not think that success only necessarily means having money. There are certain steps to making your vision clear and achievable. Some people I guess already know about the SMART goal system i.e   S =specific and expressed in numbers, M =measurable.set milestones that will help you track it so you'll know when you've achieved a goal. A =agreed upon with your team mates (if a team exists), R =realistic, relevant and achievable, T =time-bound and must have a deadline. Here I'd like to introduce SMART(ER) ;the  E=ethical.your goals must have moral standing and values,no compromising. R=resourceful, you'll need to commit time, money, information, manpower to achieve it.  Like I stated earlier, it is possible that many of us know about this system but there are some steps am sure most of us do not know about. I used to constantly worry

Love and Landlord

I just wanted to get ingredients 4 my breakfast 4rm Mama Dorcas, the woman who sold provisions down d street. As I came out of my gate, everywhere was calm and quiet as expected, most children were probably in school by that time of d morning. As I walked into d store, I greeted Mama Dorcas just as I noticed a dark complexioned pot bellied man standing at a corner in the shop. This wasn't a strange sight at all, though not quite pleasant for that time in the morning as don't actually know what will end up spoiling your day. When he smiled at me he exposed his set of 'it-was-once-white-now-brown-teeth' .Immediately I lost appetite for breakfast that morning. Then he told me he'd be the one to attend to me because he liked fair people...who cares?       I just wanted to get what I came for as soon as possible. So after getting everything I wanted, I proceeded to leave and he called me... "what on earth did he want?" that was the only ques

Pointers that you need to go and Marry

I came across the #GoAndMarry trend on twitter and decided to do a compilation of pointers based on different cultures and characteristics that you are running out of time to marry or that simply you are getting older and should be proud of it  ( Should you?)  The first on my series is Nigerian movies so while the tailor is taking your measurements for the next ashoebi you are partaking in, sit back and ask yourself Why haven't I gotten married yet? If you have watched any of these Nigerian movies, you need to go and marry ASAP 1. Living in Bondage 2. Taboo 3. Nneka the pretty serpent Or any other 1990s blockbuster in their category From the faces of the actors alone, You should have known how old you have gotten by now. Even Kanayo O. Kanayo looks like an eligible bachelor here. Your case should be worse if you did see any of these movies on the black and white boxed up television. Just kidding though, stay at home until your father puts your name and picture
